Alright, alright, if we can't knokw what the combo to the key pad is, maybe you can answer me this: Did you use the chop sticks in your hair for eating or are they only ornimental. Because if you do use them for eating, that would be totally practical. I will probably keep a fork in my hair even though it is buzzed short.
I'm not sure eating food with the chop sticks in her hair would be all that sanitary. But then again she's sera york and her hair would HAVE to be clean.
No, Chopsticks are purely ornimental,Sera would never put something she used to eat with in her hair. (no matter how many times you washed it) They were a last min addition to Sera's look when Katie discovered I have way to much hair to do any kinda of curling/straightening. I just so happened to have the sticks as left overs from the sec dec for the Galley :)
When I was in Hong Kong several years ago, I watched a demonstration of how chopsticks were used by certain ladies. In addition to using as hair sticks, like Sera does, they can also be used as thrown weapons. It is impressive to see cheap wooden chopsticks thrown THROUGH a 4mm thick sheet of wood from six feet away. Takes lots of practice, but it works, and would be quite a surprise.
Wow, well maybe if Sera had River like skills.... but I think I will be relying on my trusty and pretty gun most of all of the time..or my sour-tounged wit ;)
Unless the writers/director have other plans in up-coming episodes all that chopsticks will be use for are to make my hair look pretty and to eat or make food with :)
So does this mean that we will often find chopsticks in the various scenes of ITB? Will this be a running gag within the show? Perhaps Sammy will use chop sticks to fix the ship, or Kitty use the chop sticks to shoot from a gun when out of bullets, or Call to use the chop sticks to save someone's life?
The chopsticks are only that. They'll be around as often as appropriate... believe me, we don't lack for running themes, we're writing only the next couple of shows, and already we had something like four running jokes at last count...

A long time ago in this exact galaxy, I was a fan of BSB. Then I guess I just grew out of it. And, a couple of Coldplay songs are good. I don't judge by bands as much as I do songs, if you know what I mean.

A good picture, and if I don't mis the mark too far, you are the ship's ambassador, correct? if you are, then a slightly softer expresion would likely work better as 'amassadors' do need to be smooth with the other folk they meet... if not with the crew/captain.

She would probley get up in your face make some hissing remark and find some way to emotionally or physically damage you. (or if she is in a good mood... sarcasticly say somthing along the lines of "Even if I was a companion...I'd still be getting more lovin then you") and walk away...
But she would let the part about you calling her an "Ambassador" go to her head and use it to her advantage by knowing she could have some sembelence of power over whoever.
