I'm quite pleased with it. It was a pain in the pì-gu to make, but turned out pretty much how I wanted it to.

I was trying to capture that 'versal feel with it, but still staying away from a certain BDM's coat design.

I liken it to the idea that the same company might have made both coats, but they're very different styles ;)

The cut is kind of

The cut is kind of reminicent of a Confederate junior officer's frock coat (at first glance). But then I got a better look at it. I like the coat's look--like it belongs on some hard-bitten merchantman on the Rim.
