Into The Black.... Officially Myspace Certified

Hey everyone, finally Sera York makes her first blog to all of you! And I come here to talk about a website that is sweeping the nation… Myspace! Now you may be asking… what does Into the Black have to do with Myspace? Well because we have one now!
I have been throwing around the idea of creating one ever since I became addicted to it way back when, it is a great promotional and networking tool and one of the best way to put our name out there in the vast land of the world wide web where our name may not be heard. Both Troy (Captain) and Me (Sera) put together and run the space and will try and do our best to keep it updated (try… this is not a promise)

So, The address is www.myspace.com/itbsamsara feel free to add us as a friend and tell your friends to add us as a friend so we can spread the love and joy of all things Into the Black around the world. :)

Also, we will be picking up the camera, re-reading our scripts and putting on our costumes again this weekend for more filming!! So stay tuned for more stories about production goodness!

Have Fun!

We rock

Hooray us!

The dà-biàn is Matt, not

The dà-biàn is Matt, not an 18 year old single girl

wait... I said ship... not

wait... I said ship... not dà-biàn... that was odd

Ships are usually

Ships are usually female....and Samsara very well could be 18 years old. ... which would have made it 12 years old during the war :)

Unless Matt says differently... (MATT HOW OLD IS THE SHIP!!!!!?????)

The original ship class

The original ship class dates to 15 years before the War. Since Samsara is a -D variant, 12 years prewar would be about the earliest feasible time for its construction. I'll leave the exact time open until there's a script-related reason to decide on a date.

Matt's an 18 year old single

Matt's an 18 year old single girl???!!

No

18? no.
Single? no.
Girl? no.

has a myspace? no.

I might be incorporeally possessing a spaceship though...

looks great!

The myspace page looks great! Hopefully it generates even more interest. I like the background image. How come that one isn't available for download here?

Background image

Thanks, Miranda and I put a lot of effort into the page :)

As for the background image, I'm not sure. That was one of the first images Matt gave us of Samsara, so it's been around for a while. I then added the banners on either side...mostly in an effort to fill up the space.

because I'm lazy

I never re-rendered that one at sufficient resolution to be a desktop picture. Is there interest in more wallpaper?

I had that exact picture as

I had that exact picture as my background for ages

Yes! More wallpaper. Samsara

Yes! More wallpaper. Samsara is one of the grooviest looking ships I've seen in sci-fi. Some action shots from footage of the cast would be cool, too! Maybe a montage?

lawlz!

lawlz! Now we can all be myspace n00bz together! Lawlz!

*sigh*

I love Into the Black, and fully understand your desire to spread your message using whatever means necessary. But I loathe MySpace, largely because of it's horrible design and painful coding that brings slow, agonizing load times and frequent errors, yet somehow (I'm assuming luck has a lot to do with this) is more popular than FAR superior alternatives...

Oh well, I guess I'm just whining now. I do keep a page in case I want to look up the contact info for a friend, so I'll add you as a friend just to spread the signal. The page looks good too! :)
