A productive day

Today was a big day for us here at ITB, for a few reasons.

Filming continued, and we got a lot shot, in a short amount of time. We had three scenes to finish up in the galley/infirmary, and we managed to pop them off very quickly - yay us.

It was also Miranda's 1st anniversary with ITB. Yep, it was 1 year ago today that Miranda first came to the set after having won the role of Sera York. And what a fast, fun year it has been.

Finally, Global television (for the non-Canadians, it's one of our major national networks) came by the set today to do a story on us. They shot some footage of us working on the set, as well as conducting a few interviews. We'll try to give everyone a heads up when it's slated to air.

Tomorrow we start clearing out the space for our cockpit set, so that construction on that can start ASAP. With luck we'll be able to get in and film the cockpit scenes soon, and get it out to the masses :)

Cool beans, keep it up

Didn't catch the whole bit

Didn't catch the whole bit on Global, but the minute I heard the phrase "Into The Black" my ears pricked up like any rabid Browncoat of a fan. This looks amazing, I'm really excited to see what you guys come up with, your characters are already interesting and you really seem to have captured the feel of the 'verse. So here I am sitting in the furthest reaches of the GVRD waiting with bated breath.

Good luck, and don't stop the signal...

on youtube

Hey Hannah, welcome aboard!

If you want to see the whole segment, we've posted a link to it on YouTube. :)

Awesome! Thanks

Couldn't beleave my ears

I was thrilled to see that on the news. Its people like you and the other cast and crew that keeps great shows like firefly a live and well.

Thank you

It must have been fate...

Here I was pulling on my coveralls at work, when my ears picked up the newscasters words "Science Fiction Fans" and proceded to cover your story on Global. Letting my coffee grow cold, I listened with pride, that fellow Canada Browncoats were doing what I could only dream of.

While I might live on the east coast (Nova Scotia) and any support I might be able to offer will have to be of the long distance variety, know that my thoughts and encouragement go with you.
