Come listen to our Signal Podcast!

About a month ago, Miranda, Eric and I did a podcast interview with The Signal, which is one of the leading voices in Firefly fandom. We were there to talk about Into the Black, and had a great time. We're really happy with the final product, and encourage everyone to give it a listen.

It's a 2 part interview, that starts at about the 11:30 mark, and goes for about 20-25 minutes, then there's a break, and picks up again around 40 minutes or so.

If Jon Lee isn't a Browncoat and Dr Call is the only crew member who fought in the war (and won't say which side he was on), what the line 'Browncoats still worn on their backs' doing in the theme song?

Well for one the song was written unsolicited as a very nice gift from Rob Kuhlman and crew.

But the song doesn't actually say anything about the crew being browncoats, really. "Flying is freedom, for the rimworld rebels; the browncoats still worn on their backs"

Yup, Zeek's right. Rob wrote, composed and recorded the song all on his own, and none of us knew anything about it until he e-mailed it to the producers. We all love it so much, we're not about a change a thing. :)

The Browncoats line is my favourite btw

And that song isn't for the main credits, so I wouldn't really call it our theme! But it's a rockin' song nonetheless.

No thank you for wanting us to do an interview with us!!! We had an absolute BLAST doing it. When I found it was up last night at midnight Troy and I had a major giddyfest over MSN listening to it.

wow!

Cool interview! I finally was able to get around to listening to it! The Signal should consider using Ventrilo Chat for interviews, from there they can broadcast or record. It improves audo quality and in my case, simplifies things. Thats how I did it during the days of MMO Renegades.

The ren fair is here! I hope to see some of you there sometime!
