Oh, our aching ears!

We're finally coming into the home stretch on "Mined Control", things are once again going smoothly, but there's one service we haven't been able to turn up yet.

Into the Black needs a SOUND ENGINEER badly. If anyone is or knows of a decent sound person, please contact us immediately.

Our only requirements are that they must be in the Lower Mainland of BC, Canada, must be reasonably skilled (professional is best, advanced amateur is perfectly fine), and of course must be willing to help.

Should be a Browncoat, too, but if we find someone who isn't, we'll just infect them.

Thanks.

Say...

Aren't the guys from Pure Pwnage near you? They have a video/audio editing studio. I'm sure they are hard to get ahold of given all the fan mail they receive.

Forwarded

I forwarded this on to a few friends of mine who have the equipment and skill, both went to the Art Institute of Vancouver (one's now a Sound Design teacher there, the other just a close friend who has been enthusiastic about the project when I mentioned it to him a few months back during a Serenity discussion and has a half decent Mac rig at home now) and are fairly agreeable people in general.

Has anything been posted on Craigslist?

Done and done, thanks for

Done and done, thanks for the suggestion Kitty. I also posted on some boards that have local members where I know creative people dwell. Stil l haven't heard back from my buddy with the sweet ProTools rig (he just spent something ludicrous like $8000 on a new MacPro)

Craigslist

Where did you post on CL? I couldn't find the listing.

The gig and job boards are

The gig and job boards are currently having a starving artist rebellion. IE if you post a no-pay job, they flag it until it gets deleted and whine. So it's under volunteer ( the first one was under Crew Gigs but got flagged out)

Wow.

That's only a *little* hard to find.

We never had a problem posting there before. People are wankers.

Yay!

That's awesome news guys! I've been following your progress from way over here in New Zealand for about a year now and am eagerly awaiting the first episode.

Latest trailer looks awesome!

Keep up the great work :)

Your dedicated and geeky fan, Matt.

Hey, just posted a comment on YouTube about this, i love what you guys are doing, I am a huge firefly fan and if i was closer would have loved to have helped you out. I run a production company, but in Scotland unfortunately.

I run a professional filmmaking network here in Scotland. Not much use to you in finding someone but i'll happily offer any advice i can give. Address is:

www.filmlive.org - Feel free to post a trailer on the site, i know theres a few other browncoats there :)

Guess you guys won't be needing me, being in the US and all.

Oh well, good luck!
