Greetings!

Into the Black wants to expand into a webcomic!

We have REAMS of story, character, and setting waiting to roll; much more than we could ever fit into as many episodes as we could ever film. So we're looking for fans with the skill and dedication to help us fly in this new direction.

'Cause shows need music. It only LOOKED like we were neglecting this. We weren't at all.

We've had a number of volunteers and options, almost all of which were volunteering out of the goodness of their brown-coated little hearts. (Almost. Grr. But I digress.)

Everyone please welcome Andrew MacDonald, ItB.Ca's very own "Andrew the Great", our newly-anointed Duke of Music. A sample of his work is in the background of Dr. Call's speech, but I expect we'll hear more soon, especially since as a full production crew member of this site he can upload things now. ;)

Well, after much thinking and typing and sleeping, I've got those gorram character bios up! So head on over to the "Characters" page and see who our crew are and the folk they'll be dealing with!

I've also started on the script to the second episode, more news on that to come. But, suffice to say it's called "Harem". Let your imagination run wild! Not that wild... This is a family show!

"Into The Black" is the first ever fan-made show based on the setting of Joss Whedon's "Firefly".

It's a labor of love, being made entirely by Browncoats in and around Vancouver, British Columbia, in Canada. We loved the show, and it ended, and gorram it, we weren't finished watching it! There seemed to be very few Firefly/Serenity fan productions of any kind out there, and we had some stories to tell... so we decided to.

Welcome to the Into the Black website, finally open for business after a thousand years of tinkering. (This is my fault, I'll do some suffering for it later.)

Everything here is under continuous construction, so expect plenty of improvements over time. But sit down and have a look around; hopefully there'll be something you enjoy.

Finally, after far too much time, the Into the Black website is born!
